At the KNAUS stand the subject of lightweight construction is demonstratively presented with the Sky Traveller Superlight. A completely innovative and new body concept with numerous weight-saving detail solutions in the next season essentially reduces the weight of the popular alcove model with standard equipment, and thus makes it especially attractive for recreational vehicle rental services. In addition KNAUS also has redesigned one of its most important motorhome ranges, the Sun TI. Less weight, more beauty, reduced price – that is how the new features of the Sun TI upper middle-class motorhome can be shortly summarized. As from next model year an optimised room concept provides open lines of sight and a pleasant atmosphere of well-being. Despite the clear enhancement in the interior the Sun TI on average costs about Euro 4,000 less than its predecessor. The range of motorhome news in 2015 is completed by many new camper van layouts. Right on time for the 10th birthday of the KNAUS BoxStar five new layout solutions are presented at the trade fair. With the CaraBus 601K WEINSBERG also has a new layout in its product portfolio.

Caravans also come with numerous new features for the 2015 season. TABBERT, the group's premium brand, presents a completely reworked product portfolio to trade visitors in Düsseldorf. KNAUS Sky Traveller Superlight: Clearly reduced weight for more holiday fun
With an innovative and completely new body concept the popular alcove model in the next season has essentially less weight with standard equipment. For example the floor in the new Sky Traveller 650 DG now is made in sandwich lightweight construction – with 47 mm XPS-RTM insulation and a total thickness of 58 mm. This has a direct positive effect on driving dynamics. The same applies to the new side wall and rear wall construction: Because of the sandwich lightweight construction of poplar plywood the outer sheet metal only is 0.7 mm thick. With 30 percent lighter mattresses, a kitchen without double vertical walls and lighter handles, a weight reduction of about 175 kilograms could be realised altogether. The alcove model thus easily transports up to six people plus sufficient luggage into their holidays. With these features the KNAUS Sky Traveller 650 DG SL is the ideal model for families who wish to rent a spacious and comfortably equipped motorhome for their holidays. In 650 DG layout the new KNAUS Sky Traveller is available at a price starting from Euro 55,290.

KNAUS Sun TI: Upper middle class for clearly less than Euro 60,000
The KNAUS Sun TI already has the biggest panorama glass roof in the motorhome segment. A practical double floor and the patented KNAUS service-box also are standard in the modern motorhome. For the coming season the interior now has been completely modernized. A bright furniture decor now is combined with dark-brown high-gloss furniture flap doors to create optical contrasts. New stainless steel handle recesses and high-quality self-closing drawers also give the interior a modern touch. A dimmable 8-channel light control system with optional remote control creates the corresponding comfortable atmosphere in the motorhome's interior. Design and function – the two core virtues of the KNAUS brand – are optimally combined in the new Sun TI. The excellently equipped motorhome is available in five different layout versions starting at a price of Euro 56,990.
