Carver with new layouts and design

Carver series enters the 2016 season with four new models

Aschbach, July 2015

The CARVER series comprises a total of five models for the 2016 season. The existing 791 L model is being supplemented by the new 844 L with single beds at the rear, the 894 L with single beds at the rear and optional bar stools, the 894 M with queen size bed and the 896 L with single beds at the rear and a new gourmet kitchen. The new models all have redesigned layouts and are now dazzling the world with an attractive, modern furniture concept in Wenge wood finish with brilliant cream/white front panels on the overhead storage compartments. All of the new première models have also been designed with a new bathroom concept with separate toilet and two additional wardrobes.

Concorde consistently adapts its concepts to current customer demands and the Carver model series has been redesigned accordingly. Four new models are being presented for the coming season: the 844 L with single beds at the rear, the 894 L with optional bar stools, the 894 M with queen size bed and the 896 L with single beds at the rear and a new gourmet kitchen. The première models are all been equipped with a new bathroom concept, which offers a means of partitioning off the toilet and includes two wardrobes. Another new feature in these vehicles is the indirect LED mood lighting.

The standard Carver models are based on the high-performance, comfortable Iveco Daily 60C15 chassis, which is powered by a 107 kW (146 PS) turbo-diesel engine and has rear-wheel drive and twin tyres. The 65C and 70C chassis with the C17 and C21 engine variants are available as options. The most powerful Carver is equipped with a 151 kW (205 PS) engine. The 6-gear manual transmission may be replaced by an optional ZF automatic transmission.

Like all other Concorde series, the vehicle electrical system is easily accessible for servicing and maintenance, eliminating the need for any reorganisation measures in the vehicle. Microprocessor-controlled on-board electronics with binary unit system ensure that processes are optimised.

With its distinctive front and rear sections, the Carver's affiliation with the Concorde family is obvious at first glance. Another exemplary option is the heated panoramic laminated windscreen with PVB film and UV filter. Passive safety is improved by the front bumper crash element.

The interior furniture offered as standard has a Wenge wood finish with brilliant cream/white front panels on the overhead wall units. The furniture is also available in Noce wood finish with cream/white high gloss Senosan front panels on the overhead wall units as an option. Concorde's decision in favour of this concept has made the vehicle interior even brighter and more attractive. It is complemented by the standard parquet design flooring. Ship deck and slate designs are available as options. Concorde promises the highest flooring quality standard in terms of comfort, insulation and service life. Another exemplary feature is the barrier-free One Level Concept of the sandwich floor construction.

The Carver also enjoys all of the benefits of lightweight construction in the unusually generously dimensioned kitchen area, including the mineral composite worktop with integrated round, stainless steel sink. A kitchen resplendent in brilliant white. Extremely smooth running drawers with automatic soft close function just like those fitted at home.

All Carver models are equipped with a spacious deluxe bathroom, with generously dimensioned mirror panels. Apart from the porcelain bowl and cassette toilet provided as standard, a toilet with built-in 230-litre tank is also offered as an option. Heated towel rails are also available to order.

Concorde is consciously shifting the focus onto sustainability and energy efficiency when it comes to the Carver. The specially developed foam-backed wall and ceiling coverings provide optimum thermal and acoustic insulation. Made of an aluminium sandwich construction, the completely smooth exterior wall panels with high gloss finish give the impression of a well thought-out, sophisticated design and prevent the ingress of moisture. A pleasant temperature inside the motorhome is assured by the thermostatically controlled Alde gas-fired hot water and central heating system with time switch and an optional underfloor heating system with separate controls for the living area and bathroom.

As far as technology and accessories are concerned, Concorde offers a broad spectrum of features and options for the Carver series. There are two special electric power packages available, for example, as well as a solar system, an alarm system and a comprehensive range of entertainment electronics.

A particularly noteworthy option is the additional charge current package, which is available in combination with the Iveco Daily chassis. Equipped with a more powerful 210 A alternator and a second converter (45 A), so that the two converters supply a total of 90 A, this package offers a means of using the 220 V roof-mounted air conditioning system while driving. Another advantage of this system is its safety function, which deactivates the air conditioning system automatically when the batteries' charge capacity drops below 60 per cent.

The Centurion Style package, which is available as an option for all integrated Concorde motorhomes and improves their value considerably, is an exclusive plus factor. The package includes attractive Centurion exterior styling with corresponding emblem, furniture with Noce wood finish, black tinted windows for agreeable privacy, high-quality wooden blinds in the living area and impressive LED mood lighting to create a personalised atmosphere.

The Carver series starts as a basic price of € 157,750. The current CARVER models are being presented on the Concorde stand at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf between 29 August and 6 September 2015 (Sand B32, Hall 14).
