Concorde CREDO, a small Liner

Entry-level class launched with two new layouts

Aschbach, July 2015

Credo, the Concorde model series for first time buyers is parading two new layouts for the 2016 season: The first of these is the CREDO 841 M, with queen size bed and spacious bathroom, and the other is the 841 L, which also has the spacious bathroom, as well as a generously dimensioned seating group and optional bar stool. What's new is the air suspension fitted on the front and rear axles and the optional Iveco Daily C17 chassis (125 kW/170 PS) or C21 chassis with a 151 KW (205 PS) engine, which can be combined with an optional 8-gear automatic transmission. The CREDO series starts as a basic price of € 130,790.

The Concorde Credo offers anyone wishing to join the ranks of the Liner owners a truly premium-class vehicle - a small Liner - at a manageable price. The four established models are being supplemented by two new layouts for the new season. The first of these is the CREDO 841 M, with queen size bed and spacious bathroom, and the other is the 841 L, which also has the spacious bathroom, as well as a generously dimensioned seating group and optional bar stool.

The Iveco Daily 50C15 chassis serves as the standard basis for this series. It offers an increase in payload (up to 1,400 kg) and optimum handling performance thanks to its rear-wheel drive. The Iveco C21 chassis with a 151 KW (205 PS) engine is a new option, which can be combined with an optional 8-gear automatic transmission. All of the engine variants offered by Concorde are not only very powerful, but also very environmentally compatible and fuel-efficient.

It goes without saying that the CREDO is equipped with the customised, user-friendly dashboard developed by Concorde. The optimised electrical installation concept with 4.8" control panel and self-explanatory technology offers a high level of convenience, particularly for first time owners.

A glance at the vehicle exterior reveals the typical characteristics of a Concorde motorhome. The front and rear sections bear a strong resemblance to the larger Carver and Charisma models. One of the differences is the Credo's width (2.33 metres), which is 50 mm narrower than its larger brothers. Significant features include the styling of the bonnet, the chrome appliqués and the LED lighting with fog lamps and the independent bumper.

The familiar 791 L and 840 L layouts are equipped with single beds, whereas the 761 H and 790 have transverse beds at the rear. Models 790 H and 840 L each boast a spacious premium bathroom in the middle of the vehicle, with corner shower, free-standing washbasin and a separate toilet with porcelain bowl. Concorde also offers a built-in 230-litre tank for the toilet to order.

The interior furniture is of a similar design to the Carver/Charisma models, including the Wenge wood cabinets and the brilliant cream/white front panels on the overhead wall units. The furniture is also available in Noce wood finish with cream/white Senosan high gloss front panels on the overhead wall units as an option. A parquet design has been adopted for the standard flooring. Ship deck and slate designs are available as options. Concorde guarantees the highest flooring quality standard in terms of comfort, insulation and service life. Another exemplary feature is the barrier-free One Level Concept of the sandwich floor construction.

The options available for the living area include a pull-out table and a removable steering wheel with cab seats that can be rotated by 180 degrees. Cosy comfort for every get-together. Concorde also uses a lightweight construction concept in the kitchen area in the mineral composite worktop with integrated round, stainless steel sink. The work surfaces are generously dimensioned as usual and the appliances are almost as functional as those used in the home. A kitchen resplendent in brilliant white. All of the drawers run easily with automatic soft close function. Maximum comfort and convenience in every respect.

The Credo also benefits from the Centurion Style package, which is available for all integrated Concorde motorhomes and improves their value considerably. It includes attractive Centurion exterior styling with emblem, furniture with Noce wood finish, black tinted windows for agreeable privacy, high-quality wooden blinds in the living area and impressive LED mood lighting to create a personalised atmosphere.

The CREDO series starts as a basic price of € 130,790. Concorde offers first time buyers a truly luxurious motorhome in return. The current CREDO models are being presented on the Concorde stand at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf between 29 August and 6 September 2015 (Stand B32, Hall 14).
