Bürstner Papillon PC 6.0: Back to basics - the new entry into mobile travel from €39,999

  • Starting price from €39,999 on Citroën Jumper with 120 hp engine
  • Full bathroom with shower and folding washbasin - without shower curtain
  • Standard: Electric induction hob, 80-liter fresh water tank, diesel heater
  • Individually configurable despite reduced basic concept

Kehl, August 6, 2025- With the Papillon PC 6.0, Bürstner is presenting a new, consistently reduced campervan based on the Citroën Jumper low-frame for the 2026 model season. The Papillon is aimed at campers who consciously want to do without superfluous things - but value the right essentials: sleeping well, not freezing, being able to wash themselves, cooking easily - even away from the campsite. And all this from an entry-level price of €39,999 - a real statement in a growing market.

Compact, functional - and deliberately simple

The Papillon PC 6.0 is based on a 6-meter short chassis with a transverse bed in the rear. Despite its compact dimensions, it offers a surprising amount of space - and above all: a deliberately reduced but well thought-out basic configuration. The most important components:

  • Electric induction hob
  • Spacious shower with folding washbasin in the bathroom - without annoying curtains
  • 120 hp engine, diesel auxiliary heating, modern assistance systems
  • Space for compressor cool box instead of fixed fridge

The toilet is selectable - depending on preference: chemical, dry-disconnect or weld-in toilet. The Papillon can be optionally equipped with a pop-up roof for additional sleeping space.

From the marketing department

"With the Papillon, we are consciously taking a step back to the origins of camping: to essential equipment that allows you to feel at home away from a campsite. The interior can also be customized - and offers everything you really need as a base. Back to the roots - even in terms of price."

- Lea Isenmann, Head of Marketing & Communication, Bürstner

Positioning in the portfolio

With the Papillon PC 6.0, Bürstner offers an independent range for the price-sensitive entry-level segment, concentrating on the essentials - deliberately reduced, individually configurable and unbeatable in terms of price. In comparison:

  • Signature appeals to design-savvy customers in the premium economy segment
  • Habiton occupies the compact Mercedes van segment with a focus on technology and innovation
