China’s enthusiasm for the caravanning industry continues to grow. Holidays and short breaks in motorhomes or caravans, as well as camping, are extremely popular in China – an ideal backdrop for the upcoming All in CARAVANING (AIC), which kicks off this week. On 15 May, All in CARAVANING 2026 will open with great confidence at the Shougang Convention & Exhibition Centre in Beijing.
With the theme “Boundless Journey, Travelling with the World”, this year’s event underscores its role as a bridge between the international caravanning industry and the Chinese market. As an official sister event to the CARAVAN SALON, the AIC benefits from comprehensive support from Düsseldorf and pursues the clear objective of bringing international industry expertise to China in a targeted manner, linking it to the requirements and dynamics of the Asian market.
“With our trade fair concept, we are excellently positioned and look forward to the upcoming AIC with great optimism. As infrastructure conditions in China continue to improve, we believe in the considerable potential of the Chinese caravanning market,” emphasises Stefan Koschke, Director of the CARAVAN SALON Caravanning & Outdoor Portfolio. This year, the AIC covers an exhibition area of 30,000 square metres. Around 200 brands will be presenting their latest products and technologies in the fields of motorhomes, caravans, components, camping and outdoor equipment, and services. The focus is on the entire value chain of the caravanning industry, showcasing the latest industry trends in a variety of formats.
Leading brands showcase new products and innovations
At the AIC, 50 leading vehicle manufacturers will be showcasing their latest innovations, including SAIC MAXUS, Lidu, LiveZone, Weihang, Romantisch, Saide, Compaks, VIGOR MOTORS, Chang’an, Kuanda, BJFRT, Sihai Feichi, Conquerfalcon, ZhongZheng, Feishen (and many more). In addition, Synland, a subsidiary of CATL, is making its highly anticipated debut, further strengthening the exhibition’s impressive line-up of exhibitors. In the accessories hall, leading brands such as Truma, Fiamma, Thetford, Eberspächer, Goshen, RENOGY and Dongwu Hardware will be showcasing their latest products and technological innovations.
An international business networking event focusing on China and Asia
All in CARAVANING is a key business hub for the Chinese market and, increasingly, the Asian market as well. It specifically creates opportunities for dialogue between representatives from politics, business and trade associations, with a focus on regional market development. Experts from the caravanning and tourism sectors gather in Beijing to network and discuss current developments and specific challenges in China and Asia during accompanying conferences. Seminars address key issues facing the industry and provide valuable insights into consumer preferences and technological trends in this dynamic growth region.
AIC School with practical everyday tips
With the launch of the AIC SCHOOL, the trade fair is expanding its programme to include a platform for knowledge-sharing and practical case studies. Here, motorhome enthusiasts and industry experts will discuss topics relating to mobile travel, practical everyday tips and the caravanning lifestyle. A total of around 15 interactive sessions will be offered during the trade fair. The new AIC SCHOOL not only enriches the event’s programme but also encourages visitors to rediscover their personal caravanning lifestyle. At the same time, it underlines the AIC’s consistent commitment to the further development and promotion of caravanning culture.
Table tennis legend Timo Boll to be our guest
The well-known German table tennis player Timo Boll is attending the AIC for the fourth time and will once again be taking part in various trade fair activities in his role as brand ambassador for the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD). As a passionate caravanning enthusiast, he has been closely involved with the camping scene for many years. His participation has now become a regular feature of the programme and a major draw for visitors to the event. Timo Boll will visit numerous exhibitor stands and gain insights into developments in the Chinese caravanning industry. Of course, there will also be table tennis matches against fans.
Outdoor Life Culture Festival: A world of adventure for the whole family
The Outdoor Life Culture Festival, a popular fixture on the programme for many years, will take on a new, modern format in 2026. The event is based on a contemporary market concept and creates an even more immersive experience for visitors. Under the theme of ‘Wind’, seven themed areas have been created, bringing together a diverse range of outdoor and lifestyle offerings. Family programmes, workshops and live demonstrations create interactive worlds of experience and illustrate current trends in outdoor living. Compared to previous years, the festival is more closely aligned with visitors’ everyday lives, making caravanning and camping experiences more tangible and emotionally engaging. In addition, a dedicated Caravaning Food Market has been set up, where numerous vendors offer regional specialities, Camping-Snacks and drinks.
Customizing- Trend Festival
This year, the AIC is collaborating with the renowned Customizing trade fair APAxpo and is further expanding its established trend festival dedicated to the customisation of leisure vehicles. The exhibition area on the east side of Hall 12 now covers around 2,000 square metres, making it significantly larger than in the previous edition. Over 50 individually customizing vehicles – including off-road, smart and retro conversions – showcase the creative breadth and cultural expression of the customizing scene and are among the fair’s special highlights.
AIC 2026 takes place from 15 to 17 May and is open daily from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.
