Soundscape

Blind adventurer Erik Weihenmayer sets out with climbing partner Timmy O'Neill to tackle the legendary rock face known as ‘The Incredible Hulk’. Without sight, but with keen hearing and great confidence, they experience the climb as an intense interplay of sound and movement. It is a story that also resonates with the audience in a special way.

18:00 Uhr

Anna

Join Austrian downhill skateboarder Anna Pixner as she races down narrow switchbacks at breakneck speed – sparks fly, asphalt sizzles. On her longboard, she finds not only unexpected inner peace on the road, but also a sense of belonging in an international community. A breathless short film about courage, speed and finding oneself.

18:07 Uhr

Cycle of Bayanihan

Professional mountain biker Samantha Soriano travels from the United States to the Philippines, her father's homeland. On two wheels, she discovers not only breathtaking landscapes, but also her roots, new connections and a warm MTB community that welcomes her. This inspiring road trip shows how cycling can connect people and change perspectives.

18:23 Uhr

To the sea

On this perfectly imperfect tour, the rain just won't stop – but neither will Londoners Ben and Hugo. In 2013, the two decided to travel to Sorsele in Sweden to build their raft ‘Melissa’ out of Euro pallets and canisters. With their wild construction, they set off on the even wilder Vindelälven, through rapids, thunderstorms and narrow passages, ever closer to the sea.

Backyard

Although freeskier Nadine Wallner has already been to Peru and Alaska with her skis, she is fulfilling a big dream – five freeride descents, 3,000 metres of altitude difference, 29 kilometres – all in one day in her home region of Arlberg. When the perfect day for her project finally arrives, however, not everything goes according to plan. Experience an impressive cinematic portrait of ambition, love of home and the art of finding the extreme in the familiar.
