About us

Company details

Travelvision is a manufacturer of high quality satellite reception systems. We provide solutions for the maritime market (inland shipping) and the leisure caravanning market. Research, design, development and manufacturing of our products are carried out at our office in the Netherlands.

The very first Travel Vision satellite dishes were introduced in 1989. In1992 Travel Vision introduced the first analogue, automatic satellite tracking antenna for inland shipping.
Some years later, in 1996, the first digital Travel Vision systems were launched; the Travel Vision Marine 2 for inland shipping and the Travel Vision Standard for the leisure market. Due to the great demand that arose from the inland shipping, Travel Vision started to focus on the maritime market since 2001. The Travel Vision Modi became the first dome antenna on the market. In 2007, it was succeeded by the Travel Vision Q6, which met the need to connect multiple tuners in order to simultaneously watch television with multiple receivers on board.

In 2010 we launched the Travel Vision DUO satellite dish. This dish was a scoop for inland shipping because of the possibility to simultaneously receive two satellite signals from different satellites. This made it possible to simultaneously watch channels from two different satellites with multiple television sets. For the viewers of Dutch channels this was a great advantage because the Dutch and Belgium channel package is spread over two different satellites.

In 2011, Travelvision also returns to the leisure caravanning market with the launch of the fully automatic Travel Vision R6 system, followed in 2015 with the TVA installed clamshell satellite dishes.

In 2016, the Travel Vision Q7 was introduced to the market. These satellite dishes are equipped with the latest technology for optimal satellite detection.
