Renault Trafic 3

We are one of the few manufacturers of camper extensions in Germany that use the Renault Trafic 3 as a base model. This has two reasons:

Price-performance ratio

As a base model for our upgrades we take the DCi 120 hp Energy EU6 diesel engine. Included in the starting price are front airbags, rear parking assist and the sound & climate package. You've also got dual sliding rear windows and a glazed tailgate. It was important to us that our starting offer is not a loss leader. With the basic vehicle, you can drive off as it is without getting annoyed. Of course, there are still plenty of options available for your Renault Trafic camper van.

The bedroom

Your bed is two metres long and 1.28 to 1.68 metres wide - depending on how many cupboards you want by the bed: cupboards on both sides, a cupboard on the left or right or none at all. Here you can store your clothes and all the other things you need for everyday life.

Your camping bus bed is so incredibly quick to set up and take down that it even invites you to take a 5-minute power nap. The slatted extension makes it really comfortable and ventilated. For the kids, it's a playground and retreat when the parents want to stay longer at the restaurant. The cosy mattresses can also be laid out on the lawn in front of your camper.

In the pop-up roof, you will find another 1.35 x 1.95 m of the finest bunk for two. You'll have it set up in no time at all and when you don't need the beds, it turns your camper conversion into a real space miracle!

The design

Smart design means:

Functionality, aesthetics and sustainability.

The concept for our camper van has been thought through down to the last detail. Your Kompanja adapts to your requirements every day. All surfaces in the camper are multifunctional, almost all our flaps and compartments are accessible from everywhere.

Looking good is not enough. Combining beauty and superior properties is at the heart of every Kompanja. Take bamboo surfaces, for example: visually and haptically in a class of their own. At the same time heat-resistant, robust, colour-stable and can be restored to their original condition with little effort, even after many years.

Sustainable design means one thing above all: what we buy should last as long as possible. Furthermore, we use the ecological alternative where we can: be it FSC-certified wood or PVC flooring with recycled content and without plasticizers.

Is there actually anything more beautiful than a loving camper?

For most first-time buyers, a camper is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. We make sure that realising that dream is as much fun as it should be, with high quality products. Edge trim and plastic furniture don't feature in our definition of dreamy. Otherwise, you have plenty of choices to customise your camper to your taste.

About us

Company portrait

We could philosophize a lot. But it's really quite simple:

We love what we do.

Kompanja is about making dreams come true. Yours and ours. We dreamed up a job and you can tell when you sit on one of our buses.

We question everything.

Critical thinking is what drives us. That's why we leave no stone unturned. There is always room for improvement. Feedback rocks!

We are fair.

Of course, everyone defines fairness a little differently. Individual transport based on fossil fuels will probably not be the future of mankind. But until that happens, it's at least a good alternative to flying. We want our products to do as little harm as possible and to be neither bad for your health nor for the people who make them.
