The concept of Duvalay's simply ingenious comforting mattress pad was developed out of necessity.
Like the millions of people worldwide who consider caravans their second home, Liz and Alan Colleran suffered from insomnia and back pain when travelling in a caravan where the perfect leisure environment was compromised by a frustratingly uncomfortable bed.
Driven by success
In 2003, after decades of discomfort and dissatisfaction with the price-performance ratio of bed products, the couple came up with the idea of an innovative, better and more comfortable mattress topper. It was the Collerans' goal to apply the luxury of newly developed adaptable memoryfoam technology to not only dramatically improve their lifestyle, but also to fill a far too obvious gap in the market.
Liz and Alan worked in their living room to make their dream a reality; they began an extensive design process, testing different styles and materials over and over until Duvalay's lightweight and portable memoryfoam was developed.
